It was the timing. Had CM's deal had the same limits on triggering events as Drink's deal (first two years only) we're not in this mess.
CM is getting six million dollars from the deal one way or another ($6mm buyout this year or $3mm in salary + $3mm buyout next year). That number can't be an impediment, if it is I totally agree that Mizzou needs to move to a mid-major conference.
