don't believe he was a closeted conservative, which is what they are meaning to say. A republican is just Bill Clinton in a pant suit. "By 1979 he looked back on that guy and was embarrassed by that guy's naivete." Even if this was 100% true, Rask and his wife JG are still not smart enough to have even asked the questions necessary to wonder how bad they embarrass themselves.
