Putin has shown what he is. The same logic was used with Hitler in letting him steal, land grab and brutalize those near him and the opposition within his own country. When Hitler started, it was not our business then, either.
Ukraine is a sovereign nation with its own culture, language and people. Where is the line? If Russia had not attacked Ukraine in 2014, Ukraine wouldn’t have asked to join NATO. If Putin hadn’t amassed close to 200,000 armaments and troops all around Ukraine, would there be the urgency now?
Putin is telling you clearly what he is. To not believe him is folly, and will result in innocent people dying and an entire country being eaten up, chunk by chunk, before he sets his sights on the next one and terrorizes people in countries around the world before then.
