Interesting...I have zero desire to go through all the muck personally, as I have no idea where truth and stretches lie, and as you read more, more lies probably get interjected on the way.
I do think anything to do with FISA is a bigger issue as it is, to me, about a completely wrong process being bigger than those that abuse it. Remove the process, and the abuse goes away.
To some extent, I see this as a similar problem, as both sides are vying for the power that the Federal government brings forth. Neuter the governmental power, and this crap goes away..or at least the effects of it goes away, or is severely lessened...if that makes sense.
In no way am I excusing the behavior or claiming both sides do it...I have no idea on the latter....but the carrot of power is a huge problem we have right now, and as long as that carrot is there (and the fact that we only have two parties with a chance to get it), the more cheating there will be on the way to get that prize.
