3 of the 4 seasons before coming here his teams were top 20 in defensive efficiency. They rarely fouled.
He hasn’t had a top 40 defense here. His teams foul a lot. They haven’t really controlled the defensive glass. Had he continued those 3 things like his Cal and Tennessee team it wouldn’t matter that the offense hasn’t been elite. He would have won enough.
