If someone is blocking traffic in front of city hall because they believe grape jelly is not as grapey as it should be, I don't support it. If they are blocking traffic in front of city hall because they believe the mayor and city council violated their civil rights by not making the schools fly the flag of a cause they support, I don't support it. If they are blocking traffic in front of city hall because they believe the mayor and city council violated their civil rights by passing a measure that truly violates rights of person or persons, while I am not generally a protest guy I support their right to do it.
