or something similar that would prepare someone to be a head coach in the NFL is preposterous.

The College and Pro coaching trees ARE the preparation system and even with that there are so very few individuals that can make it through all the way to the top.

Asking the NFL to somehow favor or produce black candidates is about the same as asking the NFL to produce an A-List Hollywood actor, or a top rock and roll group.

Either the individuals find a way through the current system or they don't - but 'interviews' are the least of the issue...
