no matter who the employer is, mainly out of fear of a baseless "discrimination" lawsuit.
However, CM would still have the job regardless – even if he were white.
The reason is two-fold:
(1) The iron-clad contract that Sterk gave him.
(2) Despite being extremely mediocre throughout his tenure here, CM does have 2 NCAA tournament appearances, including one last season. You could argue he got there because of the COVID "experience gap" effect, or because the roster was *recklessly imbalanced* with nearly all upperclassmen, or point to the fact that he's 0-2 in the tourney, but nevertheless... he got there.
And that's how low our expectations have gotten.
