I don't care about NIL, I do care about my happiness.
Gave up my NHL 10 game package about 15 years ago.
Gave up NFL tickets about 10 years ago.
Cut cable about 10 years ago and went with Sling only during football season.
In 2020 I never got Sling and have cut it for good now.
Cancelled my newspaper subscription since I only needed it for sports.
Deleted all my sports followings on Twitter.
2021 will be the last season I have Mizzou season tickets.
I was in a tiny airport in Alaska one day (Fort Yukon)back around 1999. Talked to this guy who was from San Francisco and was telling me how he'd given up following sports and it had given him more happiness than he ever expected. I'm there finally.
