It’s engrained into me to follow Mizzou. But like most things in life, it was a lot more fun when I was young, dumb and naive.
I don’t think NIL and portal transfer are bad per se, but it will be interesting to see how it works out for a have not school with enough fan alienation already.
If one thing the new system shows, it is the mercenary nature of the system. Do fans care about that once the cloak is revealed to not be about the love of the Ol’ alma mater and State of Missouri pride? At Mizzou, I’m not bullish this is the way to win back fans. Better win big baby. Mediocrity looks like 30,000 to 40,000 fans and declining as old fans with more quaint views die off.
