I see your reasoning but the truth and reality is that if you are going to out wrestle hogs you have to Waller in the mud with them. They have no desire to find a middle ground or to be bi-partisan...they want control and power to do what they believe is best regardless of the will of the people.

They don't like conservatives, they don't even want us to exist. They want us gone, or isolated and controlled by fear and leftist dogma.

To try and take some honorable high ground is basically admitting defeat. They clearly have established the ground rules and now everyone must play the game.
