It's great that it appears to be less deadly than Delta, but the fact that it is more transmissible mutes the good news.

A strain that is half as deadly (or the cause of serious complications) but twice as transmissible is the same as the comparator, unfortunately.

I don't think we have good data yet, but I'm going off of anecdotal things I'm seeing.
