freaked out by Omicron? Or Covid in general, for that matter. Yes, I understand that if you're elderly and/or have underlying conditions, it can be very serious. Even fatal. But if you're fully vaccinated and don't have co-morbidities, you're more likely to get really sick with the flu or pneumonia.

FDR's famous quote rings true today: "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." Of course, that was when we had a tougher, more resilient population that had already weathered the Great Depression and was about to save the civilized world from Hitler, Hirohito and Mussolini.
