Wrong. The UK and the US are different in a lot of ways

One, the UK actually has worthwhile public transportation to many parts of the country, while the US mostly does not have good options.

The UK is a lot smaller than the US, and it might be possible for a lot of people to do without a car there. That is not the case in the US, except in a few big cities.

That's all just from a practicality standpoint. I like having my car and going where I want. If I lived in the UK, I would likely use public transport a lot more than I do now. I would be in favor of having more public transport options in the US.
