Jesus was a Charismatic and great teacher, a revolutionary teacher.

For Jesus to be the "God-Man", you'd pretty much have to embrace a paradigm of Dualism, you further need to embrace a God King -as the Cristos or Messiah was the Anointed One, the warrior king freeing the Hebrews from political and military oppression. He obviously was not that, now was he? Now you want the guy to SAVE HUMANITY ? From what? From the original sin of Consciousness becoming aware of itself and to understand Good and Evil is some paradise garden that never was?

THE IMAGE of the Baby coming save the world is powerful imagery - great stuff. Myths are like that. Powerful and impactful. But then THAT is not what America Celebrates this season. USA USA celebrates sales and profits and pretty much everything your Jesus taught against. Remember the money changers and markets in the outer rim of the Temple - the only violent action that Jesus ever takes. And America worships that.
