"Most of my life I've been able to pout my way to success. The people around me have mostly been afraid to see me throw a huge fit, and that's how I have controlled them.
Despite my horrible play and my injuries, head coach Drink has been one of those people. He knew if he benched me I was gone. Though I had already decided before the bowl game to quit, I withheld that information in the hopes of getting one last start. Sadly that attempt failed.
Then I woke up this morning and Dave Matter writes a glowing tweet about Cook, despite the fact we lost. That pretty much seals the deal.
If I can't control the world with my pouty behavior, then I'll find new people that are willing and enthusiastic enablers. If those people evaporate around me, I move on.
So I'll say a bunch of nice stuff that means nothing because actions speak louder than words.
You must coddle me at the highest level 24x7 or I will bolt.
Are we clear?
Looking for a new team that will give me endless starts and make me a captain regardless of how I play or how injured I become.
Thank you for a wonderful time while it lasted but when things get tough - I hit the portal.
Goodbye!!!
