The teenage brain processes information through the emotion-controlled amygdala. Hence their tendency to make impulsive, emotion-driven decisions. By 25, the pre-frontal cortex, the rational part of the brain, has generally taken over.
This explains why so many teenagers do so many stupid, irrational things.
Curious that you’d give a deadly weapon to a child whose brain is primarily controlled by impulse and emotion.
Let’s pray his pre-frontal cortex develops early.
