2 of 14 SEC opponents (Vanderbilt and South Carolina; tied with Georgia) but 8 of 12 Big XII/VIII opponents. That's not because the SEC is any better, as the B12 and B8 before that was a historically better conference, but rather because the program has fallen off so far in basketball. The Missouri of the 90's would be very competitive even in the improved SEC and would probably be getting their fair share of conference championships.
