I think my point is that it is highly unlikely that such a person secretly wants to give a disgraced former hard ass a job and now is her chance. She just wants to make a safe higher that doesn’t upset her resume too much before she flees to the next gig.

Your better hope is that moneyed boosters somehow force such a move and it isn’t even in her hands.
