move to the SEC – because of the "culture" – but they did because it was obvious to Deaton (even at the time) that the Big12 was doomed. The admin didn't want MU to be in the situation Kansas is currently, in a dying soon-to-be mid-major conference.

The point is that an administration and "culture" can evolve, especially if it has a visionary leader like Brady Deaton. I'm hoping DRF can be that kind of leader, rather than the stereotypical female AD who lacks the strength and foresight to make such a move.

It's time to get past our own self-righteousness.
