certainly afford a risky hire. MU basketball doesn't matter at all anymore, and we are at best several years away from being even semi-relevant. We could absolutely take a high risk/high reward approach, have it not work out, and it not really matter much at all.

7 years ago we were in a position where we couldn't afford to make another risky hire. That time has long since passed.
