You are right though in the fact that STL is Miami to KC’s Jacksonville & STL is NYC to KC’s Buffalo.
STL is the country leader & epicenter for 4 industries - Bio, Agri, Fin & Geospatial Tech. It’s business sector coupled with it distribution & port sectors have & are growing rapidly!
It has large research & some of the best education institutions in the country that have now synergized to support the rapidly growing Geospatial Tech hub in STL that will support the highest educated & highest paying Federal jobs at the soon to be built $3 billion NSA Geospatial Spy Agency Headquarters in downtown STL.
Companies are buying land & building countless distribution hubs in STL. It’s one of the very hottest, if not the hottest, markets for that in the US right now. It’s inland ports move the most tonnage of any other & will take on even more importance as worldwide shipping is to using the Panama Canal a lot more soon & come up the Mississippi to unload in SouthSTL Metro in order to break up the stagnant supply chain stoppage off the coasts.
