Were Blackwell on a more talented team she would have a more defined role , that’s if she is coachable. There are times this season when it appears like she is trying to play with more restraint , it comes and goes. The turnovers are a mix of indifference , and trying to force things off the dribble that she doesn’t have the game for.
Both her and Frank came in with lots of hype , and pressure ,as it was a new era .
As it works out their nice players, not stars , and they’ll never carry a good team.
Frank is a great story and a great Tiger and teammate but a limited player. I’d actually probably rate her as somewhere 3-4 on the team , about equal to the “ good version” of Hansen.
Williams seems to be hurt or I’d mix her right there too.
I argue that Izzy and Hansen start and play heavy minutes and you build the offense around what they can create ,. That would give them with Frank three quality three shooters. It would be fun to watch.
If Pingeton insists on continuing to split guard minutes evenly among the four guards , that’s and indication of something beyond playing your best.
