If someone is wrong, they won't admit it.
When someone makes an ass of himself on this board...let's say he misuses a multi syllable word, he won't admit it. He will either ignore it or in many cases like the politicians or the media, they will "explain" what they really meant and complain that their words THEIR WORDS were taken out of context.
People won't admit they were wrong.
Biden isn't bad, trump left him a real mess to deal with. I actually heard that on tv.
I voted for the best candidate but the media is not being fair to him.
I voted for the right guy but it's racism against chuckles the veep that inspires all the hate.
And inflation is a good thing (and it's transitory. Wrestle with that one).
The supply chain problems mean we are doing REALLY well.
There are no problems at the border, no human being is illegal.
Crime is a manifestation of systemic racism.
US oil pipelines are bad for the environment (russian ones...?)
And it's counterintuitive but true that it is the people who lack confidence who won't admit errors. People who are comfortable with themselves have no problems admitting errors. Even stupid ones, embarrassing ones.
Did you ever notice that?
