hearnes was a dump but we all loved it because we saw great basketball there. mizzou arena is a great building that unfortunately has been filled with crappy basketball for too long. i'm sure there are a number of AD-level missteps that have made it harder for local fans to embrace the gameday experience and make attendance a priority, but i don't think building mizzou arena was one of them.
