luck. Certain individuals have built-in advantages that they didn't earn...hence the inequality of opportunity. No one is asking to make outcomes even for everyone, but it would be nice to have at least close to the same chance for success. Capitalism redistributes wealth overly upward, and socialism does it overly downward. There is a balance that can found. That balance is found in Social democracy
