Let's take a look at who they beat:

LSU: Team that finished 5-5 on the year and is currently trending downward.
Vandy: 0-9 and was terrible and still is terrible.
Kentucky: 4-6
Arkansas: 3-7
South Carolina: 2-8

They beat one average team and lost two 4 below average teams. Plus teams where significantly impacted by Covid at different points of the season last year. They beat no one that was any good.
