The fact that Trump had a right to contest the election does not mean he should have given the margin of victory.
He could have put his ginormous ego aside and accepted that he lost.
What's followed has been an utter laughingstock. But it's a dangerous laughingstock because we've seen that having no sense of civic duty is permanently en vogue on the right.
There are screams from the rooftops that election fraud is rampant in America with zero basis in fact to support that claim. Nothing put forward as evidence has been actual direct evidence, even by his lawyers in court.
That's dangerous.
The right is completely beholden to Donald Trump and that means they are beholden to a well proven loser. He's eventually lost at everything he does, no matter how good he starts.
No one can admit the truth which is Trump lost because he ran a rudderless campaign and reminded a lot of people on the fence about him (somehow) that another four years of this dumpster fire would be too much to witness.
