Southeastern Arizona (from Nogales east to New Mexico) is relastively high (several thousand feet in elevation) and not nearly as hot as the much lower desert area lying to the west of Nogales.

The border area east of Nogales is experiencing essentially the same problems as Texas. The numbers are smaller, both the number of immigrants and the number of border patrol, but essentially all of the problems being experienced in Texas are also happening in Arizona.

The one difference is the numbers are just not as big.
