The other day I posted this:

Then it hit me. Why is this still the messaging?

The fear part is obvious. When people are scared, they are more likely to go along with mandates and other other government overeach without a fight.

But the other part is interesting. While the white house and other dems are not specifically saying "eradicate the virus" or "0 case goal", they are most certainly saying it enough indirectly so a lot of people will jump to the conclusion that it is the goal. And it's an unattainable goal. They know this. But when the goal is inevitably not met, they can blame selfish conservatives and libertarians for us not getting past the virus. It's basically a mass political manipulation tactic and power play.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
