6 years during regular season schedule. Restated...every 18 years you play all cross division teams 3X.

I think I'd have a "Shake Up Schedule" every 5, 7 or 10 years at least. So one rotating inter-division team is dropped, but 2 rotating cross-divisions are played that season.
"Shake Up" every 5 years & you play every cross division opponent 3x every 20 years. And that's with the two new teams added to the SEC. So it's basically the same as now.

A "Shake Up Schedule" could/would keeps things more interesting within the divisions especially & what team goes to the SEC championship and etc. FWIW This keeps the 8 game SEC schedule.
