They are starting to accept reality - without knowing it. There are a lot of posts now saying what the Big12 should do - which is a pretty Freudian way of distancing themselves from the reality of what's happening to the conference while also participating in a thought exercise of what would be digestible for them if (and when) they stay in the lilBig8.

They are starting to realize that they don't have the athletic programs that look like a Big10 conference (they don't play enough sports) and the new scheduling alliance has taken away all of the "travel partners" they were pining for that would soften the blow to the B1G regarding them joining.
