Here are the facts.
1. ACC started the modern era of conference realignment by raiding the Big East, leading to the eventual destruction of the conference. Big Ten and PAC followed shortly after by poaching teams from the Big 12 and ACC. None of them are innocent bystanders here.
2. PAC attempted to effectively kill the Big 12 a decade ago by poaching Texas, OU, Tech, and O-state. Their plan was thwarted by Texas at the 11th hour. Since then, there have been rumors that the Big Ten and ACC have been courting Texas. The SEC succeeded at doing what the others tried and failed to do.
