tennessee is a "brand" to use your term, in football. as is kentucky in basketball. i'd love to see Mizzou fill the role of counter-brand to both of them.

football will need to get better and basketball will need to start over, but i could see a future where it happens.

as for texas recruiting, i think our success there will have more to do with whether the staff decides to focus on texas than any pod structure will.
