Why not take 4 pods and the winner of each pod gets an auto berth to playoff and then the 2 highest rated teams from the rest of the conference get a berth? The SEC should get at least 6 teams to a 12 team playoff. That leaves the Big 10-Acc-Pac for the remaining 6 spots. I think this is very fair. The sec far outweighs the other conferences no matter what they think. It's just a fact
