was awkward because it was the second time I'd met him. First time was when waiting tables in Dallas when I was fresh out of college, he used to come in to the bar at our restaurant a lot. He actually got one of our bartenders fired.
Michael Irvin is there with a lady and leaves the bartender a $100 tip. Takes his chick out to the car, then comes back in by himself and asks for his $100 back. Bartender is like WTF and they get in a shouting match, manager comes over and sees employee yelling at the then-NFL All-Star and lights into him, bartender walked out.
Irvin as a mellowed out adult when i met him a few years back was super cool and very humble. Good guy. Had a bad phase.
