I blame the nature or policing

not necessarily the police officers.

Hence my comments star with the laws and the protections the police officers are given. We make a lot of non-crime situations into interactions that are not needed. And then that leads to many of these negative interactions.

And you support many of the laws that lead to this. Drug laws, most traffic laws, etc.

If the police focused their time on true crimes, we would have a lot less of these interactions, and probably reduce true crimes in the meantime.
