that over the next few years if the US continues to decline (started under Bush IMO) then the chances of them trying an invasion increases.
Still though... Taiwan is immensely important and I am doubtful that the free world (the west) would let it go without a huge fight. Taiwan is important enough to go to WW3 over IMO.
