You underestimate the strategic value of Taiwan. I also think you underestimate just how hard it would be for China to invade Taiwan... and the impact that their invasion would have across the world. If we think the chip shortage is bad now.... ooh boy.
We would let Ukraine fall I firmly believe that... but never Taiwan. Taiwan is the red line.
