I'm having a hard time understanding your question due to all the double negatives.

But based on what I THINK you're asking, no I don't. I think the sick and twisted people that are pedophiles don't think clearly. I understand the argument for punishment being a deterrence. I think the effectiveness of punishment as a deterrence is very small. And I believe in crimes of mentally ill people, like pedophiles, it has pretty much a zero effectiveness in deterrence.
