He specifically named them. He gave that fact significance. To expect the apostles to have knowledge of facts revealed after their deaths, while they were living on earth, when those facts were not revealed until after their deaths, is laughable. Revelation was penned around 90 A.D.
To expect me, or anyone else, to be able to explain the full significance of the exclusion, before accepting that it has significance, is childish. Shake that fist at God for failing to explain Himself fully to you.
