"If you're unemployed and offered a suitable job, you have to take it otherwise you lose your unemployment benefits"

The statement is completely ignorant of the fact that to be offered a job...you have to be LOOKING FOR ONE in the first place.

Moreover, if I offer you a job and you say, "no thanks", who am I supposed to report this to in order for you to be cut off from your unemployment benefits?
