pool at 71st & Nieman and it just got to be a rougher neighborhood and too much vandalism so we just shut the pool down. Hasn't been opened in years. Mostly duplexes but had a lot of professional people and the landlord had an in with the KC Osteopathic University so there were lots of med students who were tenants.

Was there one afternoon and a van pulled into the cul du sac and unloaded a bunch of women who were house cleaners. Next a ratty pickup truck shows up and unloads a bunch of men who were obviously day laborers. All crammed into both sides of a duplex.
