If you have a good one who is strong and has a vision for the school it is still a pretty good profession. When you get a bad or weak principal it sucks.

Every time I have changed jobs it was because we got a new administration that had very different views of education than I did. When that happens I turn in my resignation and go find a new job. That is one of the great things about teaching, there are literally thousands of jobs no matter where you go.
