Poor white people suffer from all the same ills that befall poor minorities. Poor whites aren't inherently better. In general we just ignore them and keep them confined to small towns and keep the lid on them.
The big question is WHY a larger percentage of minorities are poor compared to white people.
You may answer minorities ar just more lazy than white people.
Or you could accept structural circumstances which make it harder for them to get out of poverty on the macroscopic scale.
But I doubt you want this conversation.
