1st major employer to do so last March (and other manufacturers followed suit). Chip makers had to tamper production or turn it over to produce for other industries. This issue won't fix itself this year. The Big 3 operate on just-in-time and rely on their suppliers to hold it. Toyota is the only one who seems to have planned for supply disruptions, with 4 months of chips in reserve.
