happens to you, if you could have prevented it or not, it is always someone else's fault.

Raising a teen is terrifying today. The pop culture is advocating an anything-goes mentality. Kids think it is wrong to judge any behavior today. They do not realize it is that judgment that often warns you of danger. Teaching a kid that no one has the right to physically, mentally or sexually abuse them but at the same time teaching them that it is their responsibility to not put themselves in situations where it can occur is a weird contradiction but very important.
