you don't wanna take it, OK, fine. But why do all these idiots go out there and try to convince the world at large not to take vaccines?

Seems like the better plan would be just as you expressed - root for all the other schmucks to get vaccinated, to reduce your risk of getting covid, regardless of whether you get vaccinated or not.
