When I entered the profession I wanted to hear from the old goats. I thought teaching was a craft and I was eager to learn any tips and tricks they were willing to share.

New teachers come in and from day one are telling the rest of us how we should be teaching. Too many believe they are here to save the profession so instead of learning from people who have been doing it for twenty or more years they are there to 'fix' what they believe we are doing wrong.
