Ricky Frazier made six free throws in the final minute to help unbeaten Missouri turn back an upset bid by Kansas, 41-35, in a Big Eight Conference game tonight.

Missouri went into a stall with 7 minutes 15 seconds left after it had taken a 34-33 lead on a short jumper by Stipanovich.

''Our second half, we made no mistakes and that's a first for us,'' said Norm Stewart, the Missouri coach. ''We held ku to 15 points in the second half, and we're happy with that.''
